These and other questions will be explored in this class. The class will incorporate guest speakers who represent various religions as well as evangelistic projects using social networking websites.

YAHWEH - Divine Encounters in the Old Testament

We’ve all had moments that define our lives—that change some aspect of our lives forever. Defining moments can impact the world for better or for worse. But then there are divine moments. We encounter God and everything changes. The Old Testament is a record of people who unmistakably encountered God. Most of the time, the experience was accompanied with great fear, awe, and worship. These encounters changed lives, shaped history and brought about redemption for the entire human race. And it all began by God revealing Himself to one person at a time. In these sessions you will see how God divinely revealed Himself to the people of old, see their struggles and delve into the impact of men and women who follow God whole-heartedly.

Taught by:
Kory and Emily Johnson (Room E300F)
Jason and Stephanie Trook (Room E300G)
April Medina (E300C)
Austin Wadlow (E303)

HAVE YOUR WEDDING CAKE AND EAT IT TOO!

This year our study will be from the book Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. Want to experience marriage the way God intended? A wife has one driving need—to feel loved. When the need is met, she is happy. A husband has one driving need—to feel respected. When that need is met, he is happy. This simple message is the secret to marriage that every couple seeks, and yet few couples ever find. For engaged or married students, this study will set a firm foundation for a Godly marriage.

Taught by Craig and Manon Langford (Room E301)
