Ministry Descriptions

Nine30 Worship Service (Sundays, 9:30 a.m.)

College students gather for worship with the Nine30 band and a message from Pastor Bobby Dagnel. We keep it authentic and culturally relevant.

L.I.F.E. (Sundays, 11:00 a.m.)

These groups are bible studies led by adults specifically for college students. Choose from a variety of topics and discover a family, meet friends, and see how God's word applies to your daily LIFE.

Challenge (Sundays, 8:00 p.m. in various locations)

These small groups are led by students committed to helping you become a fully devoted follower of Christ. Second Timothy is the focus, community is developed, and lots of fun is the by product. Don't go at it alone. Go deep in God's word with a group of peers.

Boiler Room (Thursdays, 6:00-10:00 p.m., Lowrie Hall)

boiler room (boi’lər-rōōm) n. An area, as in a ship, that houses one or more steam boilers or hot-water tanks. More often than not, the efforts of the men who toil and sweat in the heat of the boiler room go unnoticed. Without those committed to serve in this way, the ship would not function.

The Boiler Room is NINE30’s prayer room(s) that is set up specifically so that our university students can pray for different things going on within the ministry, along with things happening on and around campus. The Boiler Room is unlike most prayer rooms because each person can come and go at anytime, and move through the different prayer elements at their own pace.

Paradigm Bible Study (Thursdays, 8:00 p.m.)

Paradigm is a gathering of students seeking God.  We are diverse in beliefs but united in Christ.  We seek to discern God's heart by digging into His Word. The bible study (led by Bruce Venable) and worship (led by Pearl Merchant) are deliberately planned to address relevant issues.
